The YouTube TV auto-renewal case covers only Californians who paid for a renewal between February 1, 2017 and October 29, 2021. Brooklyn Bedding covers people who were in California when they bought a discounted mattress. Guitar Center covers non-exempt California employees from January 11, 2020 to July 11, 2025. Tesla covers vehicles delivered in California before December 16, 2016.

Why do some settlements pay Californians more?
California has privacy and consumer statutes, such as the Confidentiality of Medical Information Act and the CCPA, that set statutory damages per person. When a company settles a nationwide case, it often pays a higher share to the California subclass to reflect those extra claims. Flo Health pays that subclass twice the standard share of its $59.5 million fund, and STIIIZY pays California members double the pro rata amount. In both, you certify residency during the class window, and Flo asks for a document showing it.
What does the Tesla idle fee settlement pay?
A refund of Supercharger idle fees you paid through the settlement date, plus $50 if Tesla disabled your Supercharger access for less than 30 days or $350 if it disabled access for 30 consecutive days or more. Former owners can instead take $10. You need the LoginID and PIN from the notice, or you request them from the administrator, and you file one claim per eligible vehicle by September 25, 2026. The vehicle had to be delivered in California before December 16, 2016 with Supercharging described in the purchase agreement.
