If STIIIZY sent you a data breach notification about its October 2024 incident, or you believe your information was in it, you may be in this $2.95 million settlement. The breach hit a point-of-sale vendor and STIIIZY disclosed it on January 7, 2025; names, addresses, birth dates, government ID numbers, payment cards, and medical cannabis card details may have been exposed.

Filing is free at StiiizyDataBreachSettlement.com. STIIIZY admitted nothing, and the administrator decides who qualifies.

You may qualify if

  • You received a data breach notification from STIIIZY about the October 2024 security incident.
  • Or you believe your personal, health, financial, or identity information was compromised in the breach STIIIZY disclosed in January 2025.
  • You lived in California: California class members get double the standard pro rata share.

What you need to file

No proof for the pro rata cash option. You confirm you got the notice and submit.

For the documented-loss option, up to $7,500, you upload receipts, bank statements, or invoices for unreimbursed bank fees, credit monitoring you paid for, or identity theft expenses.

The online form is six steps: open the site, click File a Claim and verify eligibility, pick a claim type, upload documents if claiming losses, opt in to two years of credit monitoring if you want it, submit and save the confirmation.

Deadline and what you get

The deadline is September 10, 2026.

Two tiers: up to $7,500 for documented losses, or a proportional share of what is left in the fund with no documents. The pro rata amount depends on how many valid claims come in, and Californians get twice the standard share. Everyone can also take two years of credit monitoring with up to $1 million in identity theft insurance. The Payout app lists this one and links to the same official form.

Questions about the STIIIZY Data Breach case

I never got a letter but I shopped at STIIIZY in 2024. Can I file?

The class includes people who believe their information was compromised, not only those who got a notice. The official site's eligibility check is where to confirm.

Do I need receipts for the cash option?

No. The pro rata payment requires no documentation. Receipts are only for the up-to-$7,500 documented-loss tier.

Can I take the credit monitoring and the cash?

Yes. The monitoring is an opt-in on the same form, alongside whichever cash tier you choose.
