Cases for people who bought a specific product

Checked August 30, 2026

You bought a mattress, a refrigerator, a prescription, a patch or a power tool, and the case is about that purchase. Brooklyn Bedding covers California buyers from Leesa, Helix, Bear and its own site across windows from July 28, 2019 to April 1, 2024. Whirlpool covers 2018 to 2021 refrigerators with a wire harness failure. Chantix covers September 29, 2015 to September 17, 2021. Strides gel covers June 1, 2022 to July 31, 2025. Generic drugs cover May 1, 2009 to December 31, 2019. Kroger covers insured prescriptions from December 9, 2018 to August 23, 2026. GLP-1 patches and power tools are attorney intakes.

Brooklyn Bedding pays $110 per mattress. Whirlpool pays 30% to 75% of repair costs or up to 50% of the purchase price. Strides pays 40% to 100% of documented cost. Chantix, Kroger and the $533 million generic drug fund pay pro rata on what you spent. Five of the eight want purchase records.

You may qualify if

  • You bought one of the named products inside that case's date window.
  • You bought it in the United States, and for Brooklyn Bedding, while in California or as a California resident.
  • You have a receipt, pharmacy record or order confirmation, for Brooklyn Bedding, Whirlpool, Strides and the generic drug case.
  • You paid something out of pocket, which the drug cases require.

Receipts are required in Brooklyn Bedding, Whirlpool, Strides and the generic drug case, and Chantix and Kroger pay proportionally to purchases the administrator can verify.

Questions

What if I bought the product but lost the receipt?

It depends on the case. Kroger and Chantix do not require documents up front, though payments scale with purchase amounts the administrator can verify, so pharmacy records help. Brooklyn Bedding and Whirlpool require proof, and both companies email order confirmations that you can search for. Strides asks for a pharmacy or insurer record showing the NDC number. The generic drug settlement asks for documentation of spending on covered drugs between May 1, 2009 and December 31, 2019, which a pharmacy or insurer statement usually covers.

Are the GLP-1 patch and power tools listings settlements?

No. Both are attorney investigations. Arisohn is looking at skin patches sold as GLP-1 alternatives, including NuraPatches and KindPatches, alleging they contain no GLP-1 medication. Saunder & Schelkopf is investigating power tool companies over purchases in the last two years. The $1,000 to $10,000 figure refers to what a court may award a class representative if a case is certified, and it does not describe a payment to everyone who signs up.
