Your child played Roblox, scrolled Snapchat, TikTok or Instagram, or downloaded Android apps before turning 13. One of these four is a settlement. Google Play covers anyone under 13 who used a Play store app from April 1, 2015 on, and pays an estimated $40 to $200. Roblox concerns grooming, exploitation, in-game addiction and financial loss. Snapchat covers use in the past ten years by someone under 18 that caused harm. The social media intake covers people 19 or younger who used TikTok or Instagram on or before June 2023.
Google Play is a claim form with no documents. The three intakes are individual claims, so any recovery depends on a law firm's review and a signed agreement with counsel. Adults who were children at the time can file for themselves in Google Play, Snapchat and the social media case.

Google Play needs no documents, and the three intakes ask you to describe the harm and may request medical or account records during attorney review.

How do I file the Google Play claim for my child?
A parent or legal guardian files on behalf of a child who is still a minor. The child had to be under 13 when they downloaded or used an app from the Google Play store between April 1, 2015 and the settlement date, and Google or AdMob had to have collected their information through that use. The estimated payment is $40 to $200 and drops if more valid claims come in. The deadline is September 14, 2026.
What kind of harm do the Snapchat and social media intakes look for?
The Snapchat investigation, run by Labaton Keller Sucharow, lists depression, anxiety, insomnia, eating disorders, low self-esteem, interference with school, and exposure to cyberbullying, cyberstalking or sexual harassment. The TikTok and Instagram intake, run through ClaimsHero, asks for negative side effects from use on or before June 2023 by someone 19 or younger. Neither is a settlement. A lawyer reviews the submission and decides whether to take the case. Compensation, if any, follows the outcome of that individual claim.
