You may qualify for the YouTube TV auto-renewal settlement if you paid a renewal in California between 2017 and 2021

If you live in California and paid for at least one YouTube TV renewal between February 1, 2017 and October 29, 2021 through YouTube's own billing, you may qualify for an estimated $92. No receipts are needed, and the deadline is August 30, 2026.
The one catch that trips people up: subscriptions billed through the iOS App Store are excluded. It has to be YouTube billing.
The case, Dutcher v. Google LLC d/b/a YouTube, Case No. 20CV366905, argued the renewals broke California's Automatic Renewal Law. YouTube and Google denied wrongdoing and settled for $7.5 million. The administrator decides eligibility, not this site.
You may qualify if
- ✓You are a California resident.
- ✓You enrolled in YouTube TV and paid for at least one renewal between February 1, 2017 and October 29, 2021.
- ✓You were billed through YouTube, not through an iOS App Store purchase.
- ✓You did not cancel during a free trial.
- ✓YouTube did not give you a full refund for the subscription.
What you need to file
No proof of purchase. The form asks for your contact details and your YouTube TV account information.
If you got a settlement notice, use the LoginID and PIN on it to log in at the official site. If you did not, you can download a PDF claim form and mail it.

The estimate is about $92 per claimant. It is an estimate: the $7.5 million fund is split among valid claims after costs, so the final figure moves with how many people file.

Do I need billing statements?
