Pays~$50

If you are a current or former Excel Fitness employee whose information was in the files hit by the January 2025 cyberattack, you may qualify for an estimated $50 with no receipts, or up to $4,000 for documented losses. The deadline is September 21, 2026.

The exposed files may have held names, addresses, dates of birth, phone numbers, email addresses, financial account details and Social Security numbers. Excel Fitness denies wrongdoing, and the court has not ruled on the merits. Cash benefits are capped at $175,000 in total.

Filing on the official site is free. The administrator makes the final call on eligibility.

You may qualify if

  • You work or used to work for Excel Fitness and live in the United States.
  • Your personal information was potentially accessible in the January 2025 incident.
  • You received a notice of the incident, or you otherwise fit the class definition on the official site.
  • You are not in one of the excluded groups listed there.

What you need to file

The $50 option needs no documents. You log in with the information printed on your notice; if you cannot find it, the administrator can help you get into the form. For documented losses and lost time, upload bank statements, receipts or other records.

The online form is six steps: open the form, log in from the notice, choose the $50 payment or the documented-loss option, upload records if needed, submit online or mail a signed form postmarked by the deadline, save your confirmation and copies.

Deadline and what you get

File by September 21, 2026. The alternative cash payment is estimated at $50, and documented losses pay up to $4,000. Because all cash benefits share a $175,000 cap, the $50 estimate can move depending on how many valid claims come in.

Two years of credit monitoring are also available. The Payout app lists this settlement too and links to the same official form.
