You may qualify if you logged into the myPennMedicine patient portal between January 23, 2021 and January 23, 2023 and Penn Medicine had a Pennsylvania mailing address on file for you at the time. The class covers about 756,723 people.

The payment is up to $15, with no proof required, and claims are due September 16, 2026. Filing on the official site is free. The administrator decides who is in the class.

You may qualify if

  • You accessed the myPennMedicine patient portal between January 23, 2021 and January 23, 2023.
  • You had a Pennsylvania mailing address on file with Penn Medicine when you accessed it.
  • You are one of the roughly 756,723 people covered by the class.

What you need to file

No receipts or records. You need the unique ID and PIN from your settlement notice to file online. The form is four steps: go to the official site, enter your ID and PIN, fill in the claim, and submit by September 16, 2026. With the notice in hand it takes a few minutes.

If you never got a notice or cannot find your ID, download the PDF claim form from the settlement site and mail it to UPHS Pixel Settlement, PO Box 4536, Portland, OR 97208-4536, postmarked by the deadline.

Deadline and what you get

Submit online or postmark the paper form by September 16, 2026.

The cash payment is up to $15 per person. Penn Medicine agreed to pay up to $9,250,000 in total, so the final per-person amount depends on how many valid claims come in.

The lawsuit said tracking pixels on the portal passed patient health information to third parties. Penn Medicine denies wrongdoing. The Payout app lists this settlement and links to the same official form.
