Disney YouTube TV antitrust settlement, who qualifies and what it takes to file
Last checked July 18, 2026
You may qualify if you subscribed to YouTube TV or a DirecTV streaming service at any time between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2026. No proof is required, and the deadline is September 8, 2026.
The lawsuit alleged Disney and other defendants worked together to keep live pay-TV streaming prices high, in violation of federal antitrust law. Disney denies wrongdoing and agreed to pay $50 million.
Filing on the official site is free. The settlement administrator decides who qualifies, not this site or any app.
You may qualify if
- ✓You subscribed to YouTube TV between April 1, 2019 and March 31, 2026.
- ✓Or you subscribed to DirecTV Stream, DirecTV Now or AT&T TV Now during that same window.
- ✓You live in the United States.
- ✓You can self-certify your subscription history on the form.
What you need to file
No documents. The online form is four steps: open the settlement site, log in with your YouTube TV or DirecTV email plus account number or the phone number on the account, confirm your subscription period under penalty of perjury, submit and save the confirmation number.
If you have the account email in front of you, the whole thing takes a few minutes.
Deadline and what you get
File by September 8, 2026. Payment is pro rata based on how long you subscribed, so longer subscriptions get a larger share. Because the $50 million is split among everyone with a valid claim, the amount depends on how many people file.
Final approval is scheduled for January 14, 2027. This is the same settlement as the Disney streaming page on this site.
