If you used an Allina Health website, paid a bill online, scheduled online, or were an Allina patient at any point from September 16, 2018 through May 11, 2026, you are probably one of the roughly 2,531,323 people in this settlement. Filing takes the Notice ID from your letter and your last name. No receipts.
Allina agreed to a $12.5 million fund over claims that tracking pixels on its sites passed personal and health information to outside companies. Allina denies it, and the court has not ruled either way. The deadline is September 8, 2026.
You may qualify if
- ✓You used an Allina Health System website as a portal user, a non-portal bill pay user, or a non-portal scheduling user between September 16, 2018 and May 11, 2026.
- ✓Or you were an Allina patient during that same window and did not use the portal, bill pay, or scheduling tools.
- ✓You are not an Allina officer or director, related counsel, court staff, or someone who opted out.
What you need to file
Proof is not required. The online form is five steps: open the settlement site, pick the online claim form, enter the Notice ID from your settlement notice with your last name, check your contact and payment details, and submit. A few minutes if the notice is in front of you.
You can also mail a completed form, postmarked by September 8, 2026. Keep the confirmation, and tell the administrator if your address changes before payments go out.

Payment is pro rata. The fund is split into two pools: $10,303,098 for portal, bill pay, and scheduling users, and $2,196,902 for other patients. Everyone approved in a pool gets an equal share of what is left after court-approved costs, so the amount depends on how many valid claims come in.
Filing on the administrator's site is free, and the administrator, not this site, decides who is eligible. The Payout app lists this settlement and links to the same form.

I never got a notice. Can I still file?
The online form asks for a Notice ID. If you did not receive one, the administrator's site is the place to ask about access, since eligibility is checked against Allina's records.
Which group am I in?
If you logged into the portal, paid a bill online, or scheduled online during the window, you are in the larger $10,303,098 pool. Patients who did none of those fall in the $2,196,902 pool.
Do I need medical records or bills?
No. The claim runs on your Notice ID and last name, with no documents attached.
