You can file in more than one class action at the same time
Last checked August 30, 2026
You can file a claim in every settlement you qualify for, at the same time, with no limit. Each settlement is a separate fund, run by a separate administrator, with its own form and its own deadline. Filing with Comcast has no effect on a claim with Flo Health or YouTube TV. Nobody is counting across cases.
A person who had Xfinity internet in 2023, used the Flo app in 2018, and rented an apartment managed by Greystar in 2022 could have three open claims on this site right now, with deadlines of September 14, 2026, October 15, 2026 and January 29, 2027.
Where a second claim is actually the same claim
The one thing to avoid is filing twice into the same fund. Two pages on this site, the Disney streaming settlement and the Disney YouTube TV antitrust settlement, point at the same $50 million fund at OnlineTVSettlement.com. One claim covers it. A duplicate gets flagged by the administrator and can slow both.
The same goes for settlements that split a fund by group. Allina Health puts portal users in one pool and other patients in a second pool. LifeStance does the same with people who used its online booking tool. You file once, in the group your notice names, and the administrator sorts the rest.
Where one settlement already released your claim
Some settlements exclude people who settled the same conduct earlier. The Hyundai-Kia theft immobilizer settlement covers thefts on or after April 29, 2025, because a separate $145 million national settlement approved in 2024 covered the earlier ones. If your car was stolen in 2023 and you filed then, the 2026 multistate settlement is not a second bite.
Guitar Center's California wage settlement asks that you have not already released claims about the same allegations. That language shows up in employment cases in particular. If you signed a severance or a prior settlement with the same employer, read the class notice before you assume you are in.
Attorney intake is a different thing from a settlement claim
About a third of the cases on this site are law-firm sign-ups, not administered settlements: Lantern's Adobe, NBA app, Snapchat and StubHub investigations, ClaimsHero's AI book piracy and Mercor pages, the Milberg, Arisohn and Saunder & Schelkopf consumer investigations, and the Morgan & Morgan injury pages. Those are individual arbitration or individual lawsuits. A firm reviews your information and decides whether to take you on.
You can submit to more than one of those too, and you can submit to a firm while also filing in unrelated settlements. Signing with a firm on a specific matter usually means you have agreed to let that firm handle that matter, so read the engagement terms before signing twice on the same one.
Keeping several claims straight
Save every confirmation number in one place, with the deadline and the administrator's site next to it. When a check or a prepaid card arrives months later, the confirmation is how you match it to the case. A note on your phone does the job.
